Police received a call just before 1 a.m. Saturday, reporting a "theft in progress" at Heritage Honda, on the 9200 block of Harford Road in Parkville, Wachter said. Several officers, including the shift commander, responded and gave chase as two suspects took off running.

"During the foot pursuit," the shift commander "tripped and broke his arm," Wachter said. One suspect is still at large, while a second is in custody. No details about the suspects was immediately available.
