Baltimore County police are searching for a man who pulled a jogger into the woods in Woodstock last week and tried to strangle her.

On July 30 at about 5:30 p.m., police said a woman was jogging near Siena Way when she was pulled by the attacker into a nearby wooded area, where he tried to strangle her with some clothing. The victim bit the man in the arm and she was able to escape with injuries that were not life-threatening, while the man ran off into the woods, police said.
