Baltimore County police say a 61-year-old man was attacked by a group of youths after he tried to break up a fight outside his home in Dundalk on Wednesday afternoon.
The victim was inside his house on the 500 block of 45th St. when he heard a commotion, police said. Outside, he saw two girls fighting on his vehicle, surrounded by a large group of kids. The juveniles attacked the man after he asked them to get away from his vehicle and tried to break up the fight.
The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and is expected to survive, police said.
