Luke Brackett, chief of Baltimore Environmental Police, released Duffy’s information after her family had been notified of her death.

Baltimore County police and fire emergency responders and environmental police answered a call from the civilian about the body at 2:37 p.m. Saturday. Responders pulled Duffy’s body out of the water north of Beckleysville Road bridge.

Brackett said information found at the scene indicates it was a suicide, but that a final determination will be made by the Office of the Medical Examiner.

The Baltimore Environmental Police is the primary law enforcement agency in charge of the response, as Prettyboy Reservoir is one of the reservoirs supplying Baltimore City and surrounding jurisdictions with drinking water.
