Man shot and wounded in Northeast Baltimore

A man was shot in Northeast Baltimore on Sunday evening, though police said he is expected to survive his injuries.

The 36-year-old man took himself to a local hospital at about 6:25 p.m. with a gunshot wound to his stomach. Police said they have determined the man was shot in the 2400 block of Pickering Drive, in the Hamilton Hills neighborhood.

The man's condition has stabilized. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (410) 396-2444.
