A woman was shot and seriously injured in Southwest Baltimore Saturday evening, police said.
Officers went to the 300 block of S. Franklintown Road in the city's Shipley Hill neighborhood at 9:40 p.m., according to police, and homicide detectives were called because of the seriousness of the woman's injuries.
No further details about the shooting were immediately available.
