A lockdown was lifted at Patterson High School this afternoon, shortly after a 911 call indicated that people had been shot in the school building.

City school officials said the call was believed to be a prank.

City police, city school police and the city's fire department searched the building twice and turned up no evidence validating the claim, school officials said.
