One man was killed and a man and a boy were injured in three separate shootings in Baltimore on Sunday, according to city police.
Officers responded to the 2800 block of Winwood Court, in the Cherry Hill neighborhood of South Baltimore, about 11:48 a.m. and found Michael Randolph Robinson Jr., 26, outside with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
He later died, police said.
Homicide detectives were investigating the incident, said Sgt. Eric Kowalczyk, a police spokesman. The motive or circumstances behind Robinson's death remain unknown Monday morning, Sgt. Anthony Smith said.
At 3:07 p.m., police were called to an area hospital for a report of a teenager shot.
There, they found a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot graze wound to the back, police said. The injury was not considered life-threatening.
Police believe the shooting occurred at the intersection of Ashland Avenue and N. Broadway, just north of Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Eastern District detectives were investigating the shooting, Kowalczyk said.
At 8:58 p.m., police were called to the intersection of Cedardale Road and Dorithan Road, in the city's East Arlington neighborhood in Northwest Baltimore, for a report of a shooting. They found a man with a gunshot wound.
The man told investigators that he was walking down a street when he noticed two men of average height in ski masks following close behind, Smith said. He kept walking when one of them confronted him with a gun, aiming to rob him. The man struggled with the assailant before he was shot in the midsection. The two suspects fled, Smith said.
The man was transported to an area hospital, where Smith described his condition as good on Monday. Northwestern District detectives were investigating and have no suspects.
