Baltimore city police are investigating two west side shootings, which could be related.
Police responding to a 6 p.m. call Wednesday about shots fired found a 20-year-old man lying in the street in the 2800 block of Edmondson Ave. near Franklintown Road. The man, suffering from a serious head wound, was taken to an area hospital.
Shortly before that incident, police said a 24-year-old man walked into a hospital in the same area. He was treated for two gunshot wounds to the leg.
