City police investigate two nonfatal shootings

Baltimore City police are investigating two non-fatal shootings.

The first occurred in the 3200 block of Presstman St. near Hilton Parkway. Officers responded at about 7 p.m. Tuesday to a call of firearms discharging in the area. Police found a 32-year-old man suffering from multiple wounds to his torso and leg. A gray vehicle approached the man and shots were fired from inside, investigators said. The vehicle drove away in an unknown direction, police said.

At about 2 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to an unnamed hospital in the city, where a 24-year-old man had walked in to seek treatment for multiple gunshot wounds to the leg. Investigators said the shooting occurred in the 700 block of N. Caroline St.

Police said they had no additional information on suspects or motives in either incident.
