Baltimore Police are working to identify a man who was fatally shot in East Baltimore early Thursday morning.
Officers responded to a call for shots being fired in the 1200 block of Valley St., in the Johnston Square neighborhood, at 12:33 a.m., police said.
They found the male victim lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds, according to police. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:59 a.m., police said.
The victim was found on a street that runs between Green Mount Cemetery and Johnston Square Park.
