One man was killed and two others were wounded in three separate overnight shootings in Baltimore City, police said.
No arrests have been made and there are no motives or suspects in the wave of violence that began shortly before 9 p.m. Friday night and ended early Saturday morning, according to police.
James Wright, 25, was shot multiple times in the torso in the 1500 block of W. Baltimore Street in the Franklin Square neighborhood about 8:50 p.m., police said. Wright was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:40 p.m., according to Det. Kevin Brown, a police spokesman.
In a separate incident in Southeast Baltimore, an unidentified 25-year-old man was shot once in the hip in the 200 block of Mason Court about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, police said. He was transported to an area hosptial and is in stable condition, according to police.
In the third incident, an unidentified 34-year-old man was shot several times in the torso while at a party in the 4400 block of Frankford Avenue, police said. The victim was driven to the 5500 block of Harford Road to seek help and then transported to an area hospital, where police said he is in stable condition.
