Man, 57, shot in head, drives into parked car, city police say

A 57-year-old man was shot in the head Sunday night and crashed the car he was driving into another vehicle in Northwest Baltimore, police said.

The man was found disoriented and bleeding about 10:15 p.m., police said, after his car collided with a parked car in the 3200 block of Vickers Road, in the Hanlon-Longwood neighborhood. He was taken to a hospital, where doctors discovered the gunshot wound to the man's head.

Police had no further information on the man's condition, but they were expected to provide more details about the case Monday afternoon.
