Two men injured in pair of shootings Thursday

Two men were injured in a pair of shootings Thursday evening in Northeast and East Baltimore, police said.

Around 7:30 p.m., an officer responded to the 1700 block of Ramblewood Road for a reported shooting. The officer found a 33-year-old man lying on the ground, suffering from several gunshot wounds to the buttocks. A medical crew was dispatched to the scene and took the man to a nearby hospital.

At about 11:45 p.m., an officer responded to the 1700 block of E. Lafayette Ave. for a reported assault. Police found an 18-year-old man who had been shot twice in the right thigh in the 900 block of East North Avenue, in the East Baltimore Midway neighborhood. The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Police have no word on suspects or motives.
