Baltimore police investigate three overnight shootings

Two men shot within two hours starting late Friday are expected to survive, while a third man shot early Saturday morning remains in serious condition, Baltimore police said.

Officers were called at about 11 p.m. Friday to a local hospital and found a 25-year-old man who had a gunshot wound to the leg, police said. They said the man was walking in the 900 block of McAleer Court when another man began shooting at him.

About two miles from the scene at McAleer, officers were called to the 1800 block of N. Chester St. at about 12:30 a.m., where they found a 32-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the leg. He was taken to an area hospital, police said.

Officers were later called to an area hospital, where a 34-year-old man was listed in serious condition after he suffered a gunshot wound to the torso. Police said the man was driving his car just before 4 a.m. in the intersection of Wilkens Avenue and South Payson Street, when someone fired several shots at his car.
