A man was stabbed Monday afternoon in the 700 block of Linnard St. in Edmondson Village, Baltimore police said, and he is expected to recover from his injuries.

Police were called to an area hospital shortly before 5 p.m. Monday and found the man, who had walked into the hospital after being stabbed in the torso, said Detective Kevin Brown, a department spokesman.

Police had no suspects and knew of no motives in the stabbing.
