A 14-year-old boy was in critical condition after being shot in the head in a triple shooting in West Baltimore on Thursday night, police said.
The boy was one of three juveniles standing in the 1000 block of Ashburton St. in the Mosher neighborhood when at least one gunman walked up and opened fire, said Detective Donny Moses, a police spokesman.
The 14-year-old was rushed to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in critical condition. Two others were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries: a 17-year-old who was shot in the wrist and thigh, and a 15-year-old who was shot in the buttocks, Moses said.
Police did not have a suspect or know of a motive, but said several people had been taken to the homicide unit for interviews.
