Infant death in Sept. ruled a homicide

A 10-month-old child who died after being rushed to the hospital in September suffered a brain hemorrhage and is believed to have been shaken to death, police said.

An autopsy on Dec. 17 confirmed homicide as a cause of death for Micha Crane, who lived in the 3500 block of Chesterfield Ave. and was found in the 1900 block of W. North Ave. on Sept. 8.

Police say they have not made any arrests in the death and could not provide any additional information. Micha is the 11th child to die in Baltimore this year, and the fourth aged 2 or younger.
