Police investigating two non-fatal Friday shootings

City police are investigating two non-fatal shooting incidents Friday.

Officers were called to a local hospital for an adult male patient who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, police said. Shortly thereafter, a juvenile male arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. Police said the incidents are believed to be related to an incident at about 2 a.m. in the 1300 block of Gorsuch Ave., near the Stadium School in the Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello neighborhood.

Police are investigating another non-fatal shooting that happened at about 5 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Clifton Ave. in the Penn North neighborhood, south of Druid Hill Park. There, a 29-year-old man was sitting on steps when he was shot in the face, police said. He was taken to a local hospital, where he is expected survive his injuries.
