Police are investigating the early Sunday killing of a woman found shot on a porch in West Baltimore.
Baltimore Police spokesman Kevin Brown said the woman has not yet been identified, but described her as being in her early 20s. She was shot twice in the torso, he said, and police found her when she ran up onto a porch in the 2300 block of Braddish Avenue around 3 a.m.
The woman was brought to Shock Trauma, where she was later pronounced dead. Brown said police do not have a motive or a suspect.
Police are also investigating a nonfatal shooting that took place early Saturday, but didn't come to light until later in the day. At about 3:40 a.m., officers on patrol heard gunshots in the 2000 block of Robb Street in East Baltimore, Brown said.
They searched the area for a shooter but didn't find anybody. Later in the day, a Baltimore County hospital reported that a 30-year-old man had come in for treatment of injuries that he said to have suffered in a shooting on Robb Street, Brown said. Baltimore police believe he was hurt by the gunshots heard in that area. The man, who has not been further identified, is in stable condition, he said.
