Police responded to two separate shootings with an hour Monday afternoon.

At about 2:20 p.m., police responded to a call from the 1800 block of North Montford Ave., a few blocks west of the Baltimore Cemetery in the Broadway East neighborhood, where they found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his upper right arm.

The man was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated for a possible fracture to his arm.

About 20 minutes later, police responded to the 5200 block of Nelson Ave. near Bel-Park Tower in the Arlington neighborhood, where they found a 24-year-old man who had also been shot in the arm. A preliminary investigation revealed the man was shot while sitting inside a car.

The victim was taken to an area hospital but police had no word on his condition.
