A Baltimore teen was arrested after a woman spotted him at a Brooklyn bus stop and told police he had robbed and sexually assaulted her two months earlier, according to court records.
Police were called to the corner of Fifth Street and East Patapsco Avenue about 9 p.m. Saturday, where a woman told police that a man standing at a bus stop was the same man who had robbed her of $200 and attempted to rape her June 26, records show.
"You don't remember me," she said, yelling and pointing at the man, according to charging documents.
She told detectives that she was walking on Pontiac Street when a man placed a box cutter to her throat and forced her into an alley, according to records. He ran off with her purse, she said. It was not clear whether the woman had reported the incident to police.
The suspect, identified as 16-year-old Sean Moss, acknowledged to detectives that he robbed the woman of her purse but denied that he sexually assaulted her, according to court records. Moss, of the 500 block of Washburn Ave., said he had approached her asking for change, then ran off with the purse as she opened it. He said there was no money in the purse, and he discarded it, records show.
Moss has been charged with armed robbery, first-degree sex offense, attempted rape and assault.
