A man was shot in the hand in West Baltimore on Monday night, according to city police.

Officers went to the 800 block of N. Stricker St. in the Harlem Park community for a report of a shooting, police said. They found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to the left hand, but they received conflicting reports as to how and where he was shot, according to police.

No further information was available.
