City police are investigating a report of a shooting in Southwest Baltimore early Thursday morning, according to authorities.

A man was shot in the stomach in the 100 block of Diener Place, in the Irvington neighborhood, police said.

The incident was reported at 4:36 a.m., police said. No other information was available.
