Baltimore Police are investigating the shooting of a man in the Carrollton Ridge neighborhood early Monday morning.

According to preliminary information, the incident was reported at 1:40 a.m., police said. An adult man was shot several times in the 2000 block of Eagle Street, in the southern district, according to police.

No further information was available.
