Three teens charged in armed robbery of $3, cell phone

Three teenagers have been charged with armed robbery after two men say they were surrounded and robbed Saturday night in East Baltimore.

The victims told police that two men approached from the front and four others from behind about 9:45 as they walked in the 300 block of S. Clinton St. in Highlandtown.

One assailant showed a knife as two others took $3 and a cell phone from the victims.

Charged were Asia Carter, 17; David Hanley, 19 and Raheem Bey, 17. Both victims were Hispanic, although there is no indication in the charging documents that ethnicity was a factor in the robbery. Police had no information on the three other alleged robbers.
