Man dead after shooting

A 50-year-old Baltimore man was shot and killed early Sunday morning while leaving for work in what police suspect may have been a robbery attempt.

Carlos Williams of the 1900 block of Boone Street was getting into his Comcast Cable van at about 6 a.m. when he was approached by at least three suspects.

He was shot multiple times in the head and torso and pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Police spokesman Donny Moses said there were no suspects, and it was not immediately known if anything was taken from the victim.
