Police: Domestic dispute led to shooting

A 29-year-old Baltimore man was in serious but stable condition at the University of Maryland's Shock Trauma center after he was shot multiple times early Sunday morning by a suspect police say was the former boyfriend of his girlfriend.

The suspect has been identified, and police were searching for him Sunday.

Police spokesman Donny Moses said the victim, who was not immediately identified, was arriving in the 500 block of Scott Street with a female companion when the suspect emerged from between parked cars. An altercation occurred during which the victim was shot.

Moses said the woman was not injured.
