A 20-year-old man remains in critical condition after he was stabbed Monday night in West Baltimore, according to police.

An officer responded to a report of a shooting at the intersection of Rosedale and Presstman streets at 8:14 p.m., police said. The officer found the victim with a severe horizontal laceration in his abdominal area, police said.

The man was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment, police said.
