Man fatally shot in Northeast Baltimore

Baltimore Police are investigating a Sunday night shooting death in northeast Baltimore.

An officer responded to a report of a shooting at 10:11 p.m. in the 3500 block of Cliftmont Avenue in the Belair-Edison neighborhood, according to police.

He found medical crews treating a male victim in the rear alley with gunshot wounds to the upper torso and head, police said.

The man was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and pronounced dead at 12:16 a.m.

Police are also investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old in the 200 block of North Monroe Street in West Baltimore Sunday night.

Officers responding to call for discharging of a firearm found the teenager lying on the street with a gunshot wound to the stomach. He was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
