Water main replacement near E. Cold Spring Lane to begin Monday

Work will begin Monday on a new 12-inch water main on East Cold Spring Lane, near Morgan State University, and will cause some lane closures in the area through the summer, city public works officials said.

The work will affect one traffic lane on East Cold Spring Lane, between Hillen Road and Grindon Avenue, but not during commute times, 6 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m., city officials said. Work between Hillen Road and Overland Avenue, which runs through the campus, will be completed at night between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
