BALTIMORE (AP) — The body of a graduate student who was last seen early this month was found in an academic building on the campus of Morgan State University, Baltimore police said.
The body of the 45-year-old male student was found about 10:50 a.m. Tuesday in a building that houses classrooms, labs and offices for the engineering and design departments, police spokesman Donny Moses said.
The student was found in his second-floor office of the Center for the Built Environment and Infrastructure Studies, the university said in a statement.
"The university's thoughts and prayers are with the family of this student," the statement said.
The student went into the building on Aug. 4 and had not been seen or heard from since then, Moses said. A staff member found the body after a student reported a foul odor. Classes were canceled in the building for the rest of the day.
Police do not suspect foul play. The body was taken to the medical examiner's office for autopsy.
