A 27-year-old woman was killed early Saturday in Baltimore’s Clifton Park neighborhood when the car she was riding in crashed into a parked tow truck, police said. The male driver ran away before police arrived.

The accident occurred at about 2 a.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of Belair Road. A police department spokesman said in a news release that a 2002 Kia Sorrento was heading north when the driver lost control of the car and crashed into the parked flat-bed truck.
