Tractor-trailer crashes into Baltimore Convention Center

A tractor-trailer crashed into the side of the Baltimore Convention Center early Wednesday morning.

A Baltimore police spokesperson said the accident occurred at 1:41 a.m. and the driver said he was trying to make a right turn off of Interstate 395 onto Conway Street, but that he couldn’t see through the fog.

The crash was cleaned up before 3 a.m., according to Jennifer Douglass, communications and marketing manager for the Baltimore Convention Center.

Douglass said there were no injuries associated with the crash, but they are calling a structural architectural firm because of damage to its outdoor patio wall.
