A city salt truck had responded Wednesday night to keep several streets from icing over as temperatures dipped below freezing.

Water streamed from the main onto Poplar Grove Street, Elgin Avenue, Koko Lane, Ashburton Street, Braddish Avenue, Evergreen Street and N. Longwood Street, Raymond said.

Gwynns Falls Parkway was closed from Hilton Street to Reisterstown Road Wednesday night.
