The southbound side of the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel is closed after a vehicle caught fire around 5 p.m., according to Edward Bartlinski, a spokesman with the MDTA police.
Both the northbound and southbound tunnels were temporarily closed while units put out the fire, Bartlinski said. As of 6 p.m., the fire was out, and only the southbound tunnel remained closed.
A spokesman said no injuries were reported.
