A man was shot and killed in the Belair-Edison neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The 25-year-old was found with gunshot wounds to his head and torso around 1 p.m. in the 3300 block of Cliftmont Avenue. Police said he was sitting on the porch of a vacant house when a gunman sitting on the porch of another vacant house several doors down began shooting at him. The victim ran, but the suspect chased him, continuing to shoot, police said.
He was pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Hospital, police said.
