Baltimore police searching for two suspects in double shooting that killed teen

Police said Friday they are searching for two suspects they believe shot and killed a 16-year-old and wounded another in Northwest Baltimore.

Malik Fuller, 16, died after police said he was shot in the chest Thursday night in the 3300 block of W. Garrison Blvd. in Central Park Heights. Another 16-year-old was also wounded, and he was listed in stable condition on Friday.

Police continue to investigate the double-shooting but say they believe two suspects were involved. They are seeking the public's help to identify either suspect.

"This is an incident where a 16-year-old lost his life," Baltimore police spokesman Eric Kowalczyk said. "We want to find that person and persons that are responsible and make sure we bring them into custody, and we're hoping the public can help us with information."

Fuller was the second Baltimore juvenile killed this year after police say 11-year-old Matthew Thomas was shot and killed by his father in a murder-suicide in early January.

Fuller would have turned 17 by the end of the month. Police say he lived in the 3100 block of Hanlon Ave. in the Hanlon-Longwood neighborhood. His family declined to comment on Friday.

The shooting was the city's seventh double shooting in 2015.
