City subway stations closed due to smell of gas; no leak found

A Baltimore fire spokesman says firefighters are at all eight of the Metro system's underground subway stations that were shut down because of a report of a gas odor and have not detected any leaking gas.

Fire spokesman Battalion Chief Kevin Cartwright says no injuries or illnesses have been reported either. He says firefighters are monitoring air quality at the stations.
