City police investigate 2 shootings Saturday

Baltimore City police are investigating two shootings that occurred early Saturday morning.

Officers on patrol in the 5200 block of Wilton Heights Avenue around 2 a.m. heard gunshots and after searching the area, found a man who had been shot multiple times in the arms, police said. The victim was taken to an area hospital for emergency medical treatment and is expected to survive.

Northwestern District Detectives are investigating and anyone with information is asked to call 410-396-2466.

Police were also called shortly before 2:30 a.m. to an area hospital where a man was being treated for a gunshot wound to the left thigh. Police have not yet determined where the shooting occurred.
