A man was killed in a shooting in West Baltimore, and a woman was found dead in Northwest Baltimore on Monday, Baltimore Police said.
Officers arrived around 11:42 p.m. at the 2300 block of West Franklin Street for a ShotSpotter alert and found the 52-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics took him to the hospital, where he died. Police identified him Wednesday as Eric Jennings.

A 28-year-old woman was found dead in Northwest Baltimore’s Central Park Heights neighborhood, police said.
Officers arrived at 10:35 a.m. at the 400 block of Park Heights Avenue, where an unresponsive woman was found with “obvious signs of trauma to the body,” police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was sent to the medical examiner’s office, which determined the cause of death to be a homicide.
