Three men shot in Baltimore Friday

Three men were shot in separate incidents in Baltimore on Friday, the police department said.

In the first, officers were called to the 700 block of N. Stricker Street in the Harlem Park neighborhood for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived they found an man with a gunshot wound to his hip, police said. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Detectives said they believe the victim was involved in an argument in the 300 block of N. Stricker Street in Franklin Square when someone shot him.

In the second incident, officers went to a hospital around 7:45 p.m. to investigate a person who had walked in with a gunshot wound, police said. A 27-year-old man, who had been hit in the hand, told officers he was shot in the 3000 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway in the Hanlon-Longwood neighborhood.

Less than an hour later, officers found a 29-year-old man who had been shot in the shoulder in the 400 block of S. Wickham Road in the Beechfield neighborhood. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.
