Four shot in Baltimore over weekend

Four men were injured in shootings in Baltimore over the weekend, police said.

A man was shot in the head and critically injured in the 400 block of Edgewood St., around the corner from Mary E. Rodman Elementary School, just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday, police said. The man was hospitalized, and Homicide detectives are investigating because of the severity of his injuries, police said.

Shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday, a man was shot in the chest the 3800 block of Kavon Ave. in the city's Belair-Edison neighborhood, police said. He is expected to survive, police said.

Detectives in the Northeastern District are investigating. Anyone with information should call 410-396-2444.

Two more shootings happened early Saturday morning.

A man was hospitalized after being shot multiple times in both arms in the 5200 block of Wilton Heights Ave. in the Arlington neighborhood around 2 a.m., police said. He is also expected to survive.

Northwestern District Detectives are investigating and anyone with information is asked to call 410-396-2466.

Police were also called at around 2:30 a.m. to a city hospital where a man was being treated for a gunshot wound to the left thigh. Police have not yet determined where the shooting occurred, and they gave no information on his condition.

Central District Detectives are investigating and anyone with information is asked to call 410-396-2411.

Police did not release any information on any suspects or motives in any of the incidents.
