Baltimore city public schools officials say a gun was found on a student at a Northeast Baltimore middle and high school Tuesday.
The weapon was secured and was not used to threaten anyone, officials said. The gun was found during an unrelated investigation at Friendship Academy of Engineering and Technology.
More information about the student or the circumstances was not released. The student who brought the gun will face possible expulsion, officials said.
