The roof of an East Baltimore row home collapsed Thursday afternoon, bringing much of the building down with it, the Baltimore Fire Department said.
No one was injured or inside during the incident, which happened at about 12:40 p.m. in the 1400 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. in the Broadway East neighborhood, department spokesman Capt. Roman Clark said.
A neighbor was evacuated from her home next door, and the man who lives in the destroyed home has been contacted. The cause is under investigation by the city, Clark said.
