BGE crews are evaluating underground conduits in West Baltimore after several manhole covers were blown off and about 250 nearby customers lost power Wednesday morning, a spokesman said.
The Mayor's Office of Emergency Management officials said several manhole covers were blown off, closing Mosher Street between Druid Hill Avenue and Division Street early Wednesday.
Utility crews remained on scene, investigating the cause and restoring power, which officials said would likely be later in the day.
