A student at Loyola University Maryland is now in stable condition after falling from a campus building balcony, the university said Saturday.
Sheilah Shaw Horton, vice president for student development and dean of students, wrote an email to employees and students informing them about the accident Friday. The student, Gary Valinoti, was critically injured in the fall.
A university spokesperson said no other information was immediately being released about the student or the accident.
