Light Street lanes closed in Inner Harbor for walking bridge demolition

A portion of southbound travel lanes on Light Street in the Inner Harbor is closed this weekend for the demolition of the walking bridge between the McKeldin Fountain and the Hyatt hotel.

The closure, between Pratt and Conway streets, began 8 p.m. Friday and was scheduled to last until 5 a.m. Monday, according to the city Department of Transportation.

A detour was set up routing drivers west on Lombard Street and then south on Hopkins Place.
