Vehicle hits light rail in city, MTA officials say

A vehicle struck a light rail train in Baltimore Thursday afternoon, Maryland Transit Administration officials said.

The crash occurred at 11:39 a.m. at W. Madison and N. Howard streets in Mount Vernon, an agency spokesman said.

The vehicle was towed off the tracks and light rail service is operating with some weather-related delays.

No one was injured in the crash.
