A multi-vehicle crash shut down all northbound lanes on the Jones Falls Expressway Thursday morning.
The crash occurred on Interstate 83 near the Northern Parkway exit, snarling traffic in both directions. A backup on the northbound side stretched for miles back to North Avenue.
